The Voiptology Team has had over 15 years industry experience implementing various VoIP Solutions and providing VoIP services to businesses around the world. We saw that even though there were several Opensource Billing solutions available none of them we truly Carrier Grade or designed with scalabilty in mind. These Opensource solutions were also lacking features or implemented incorrect business logic due to the fact that the developers of such projects may not have had experience on the business side of the industry.
In May 2014 Voiptology seized on this opportunity and began developing CGRT Billing to be an affordable commericial solution for VoIP Providers. CGRT Billing was developed to fill the much needed gap in the marketplace for an easy to use yet reliable, scalable Carrier Grade RealTime Billing Platform.
